Srinivasa (Srini) Srirangam O.D. – Coming Soon

Dr. Srinivasa (Srini) Srirangam was born in India and raised in Michigan & Connecticut. He graduated with honors from the University of Connecticut in 2017 with a bachelor of science in Physiology & Neurobiology. Afterwards, he worked as a research assistant at Brown University and as an editorial assistant for the the Journal of Visualized Experiments (JoVE), a peer-reviewed, scientific video methods journal.

He then attended the New England School of Optometry (NECO) and enrolled in their dual-degree OD/MS program, where he received both his doctorate of optometry (OD) and master’s in vision science (MS) in 2025. His master’s thesis examined how the axial length of the eye impacts the photoreceptors in the retinal tissue through electrophysiology and psychophysics. After graduating NECO, he completed a residency in Primary Care and Ocular Disease at the Boston VA Healthcare System in 2026.

Dr. Srini is passionate about all things eye-related including (but not limited to) comprehensive eye exams, ocular diseases, contact lens fittings, low vision/polytrauma, and ocular emergencies. Outside of the office, he loves movies, music, books, hiking, racquet sports, running, and bird-watching. His favorite bird is the black-capped chickadee, his favorite racquet-sport is pickleball, and his favorite TV show is Jeopardy!
