The Oculoplastics services provided at the Eye Center of the North Shore include the management of disorders of the eyelids, lacrimal (tear) system and the orbit (the bone cavity surrounding the eye).
If you have sagging skin that impairs your vision or dark circles, and bags under your eyes? Then you may be a candidate for eyelid surgery.
More specifically eyelid surgery is indicated for:
- Loose or sagging skin that creates folds or disturbs the natural contour of the upper eyelid, sometimes impairing vision
- Excess fatty deposits that appear as dark circles or puffiness in the lower eyelids
- Bags under the eyes
- Droopiness or laxity of the lower eyelids, showing white below the eye
- Excess skin of the lower eyelid
After consultation you will be scheduled for testing which will then be sent to your insurance for eligibility.
